OASE BioTec Screenmatic² flow through filters with biological and mechanical filtration, clean and clear pond water which flows back down to the pond by gravity. The OASE BioTec Screenmatic² automatically separates debris using the self-cleaning screen, then depositing coarse debris into the removable tray. The adjustable intelligent cleaning sensor is mounted above the screen and detects buildup of debris and then automatically empties the screen into the debris tray. It has a high efficiency filter system that features 3 different densities of foam harboring a variety of beneficial bacteria that removes harmful ammonia and nitrites. The double-sealed screen motor and reinforced screen material ensures an extended service life. The foam distribution and optimized water level in the container, ensures a longer filter service life, improved filtration and reduced maintenance. The Filter Foams clean directly inside the filter in the pond water to preserve beneficial bacteria colonies and reduce water waste. Slide the valve on the sludge drain to remove sludge and dirty water with minimal mess. You can add an optional Bitron C UVC clarifier to any Screenmatic² filter system for enhanced clarity and cleaner water. It qualifies for the OASE Clear Water Guarantee when paired with the proper pump and UVC Clarifier. The BioTech ScreenMatic² 18000 has a 3” adapter outlet, a max flow of 2,900 GPH and dimensions of 31”L x 23”W x 21.5”H. It has hose sizes of 1”, 1.25” and 1.5” and a pond volume of up to 18,000 gallons. It has a 3-year warranty.
